For those in search of good business opportunities, franchising offers a world of possibilities.
It offers a ready answer to who want to go to business but do not know much about its ins and outs. Over the years, the number of franchisers has grown, covering various businesses to interested franchisees. Food, clothing, personal care, business services, home accessories and lines – the list is endless and interesting.
On September 4-6, 2009 the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. will hold its 8
th Franchising Show entitled "Franchising Opportunities: Rising Above the Crisis" at the World Trade Center in Manila. Its name alone sends a message to all that there are opportunities to discover and take advantage of even in an economic crisis.
This year’s theme is FRANCHISING EXPO & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR
SMEs – which dovetails with
AFFI’S “
KABUHAYANG PINOY MUNA” Advocacy.
A veritable one stop shop for interested investors, especially
SMEs, this
trade fair promises to showcase the Philippines' most responsible and most promising Filipino
franchisers under one roof. It offers a wide variety of franchises to interested investors with different budgets. Also on display will be the food carts, logos, and
collateral's used by the
franchisers as part of their operations, in order to give interested investors more ideas about what these
franchisers have to offer.
The franchising show allows
SMEs to check out the various franchising packages offered by 80 members of
AFFI. They can try out the products and check out the services offered by these
franchisers at the show. They could also check out the offerings of suppliers and network with other
SMEs like themselves. Most importantly, they will be able to meet with franchise owners who will also be on hand to discuss how they can start their own businesses, and will be ready to attend to the inquiries of interested parties.
Also on hand are financial institutions such as
BPI Family Bank to help out those who might need financial support to start or grow their businesses. Financial advisers will be on hand to guide those who may want to know the different financing vehicles to suit their needs.
