A Taste of Texas Roadhouse Grill
Wednesday, September 23, 2009
Just recently, I was invited to attend the bloggers dinner at Texas Roadhouse Grill, El Pueblo, Ortigas. Unending thanks to Kankan, Laszlo and Elaine of Yehey! I've been hearing a lot about Texas Roadhouse Grill through my high school friend Sheryl, who lives in California. According to her, once you've seated, the staff will serve you buckets of buckets of peanuts and you can even throw the shells on the ground, hahahah. Aside from peanuts, they also give you bread rolls with cinnamon butter. She said it's sooo good and addicting! You can even ask for more. Mind you, these peanuts and bread rolls are FREE! Sounds good, right? So when Yehey! invited me to a dinner at Texas Roadhouse, I got excited! Texas Roadhouse Grill opened its swinging doors to the public in March 2007 at the Bonifacio High Street to cater the urban cowboys in the Philippines. In November 2007, it opened its 2nd branch in El Pueblo Real de Manila, Ortigas Center. As you swagger into the doors of Texas Roadhouse Grill, it welcomes you like a Western hero out to conquer its delicious menu. Here are the food served to us! Santa Fe Nachos Tortilla soup - a must-try! Jessie James Sampler (P375.00)- combination of Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Spicy Chicken and Fish Fillet . Shrimp and Salmon Skewers (P420.00) - served with 3 sticks of salmon skewers and shrimp squeezed with lemon together with Texas rice and assorted veggies as a side dish. Great Ribeye (P1100.00)- the most sought-after in the menu, is a mouth-watering 10-ounce certified US steak. Steaks are prepared the way you like it: rare, medium rare, medium, medium well and well done. Whatever your preference is, meats are guaranteed to be tender and juicy. Side dishes include a combination of any of the following: Fresh Steamed Veggies, Corn on the Cob, Texas Rice or French Fries. . So yummy! |
